About the Gorillas
Mountain gorillas are one of the world’s most endangered species, with only about 1,000 remaining in the wild. Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park is home to about a third of this population. Your visit directly contributes to conservation efforts through the permit fees that fund anti-poaching patrols and community development projects.
